Problem with Microphone

I just tried to use a microphone with my Windows 10 - 64 bits

After several tries, I got the sound going from the microphone through the speakers

But I am unable to "connect" the microphone to any sound application : the microphone is not recognized

You might check Start > Settings > Privacy > Microphone

Check that you have access set to 'On' and there's also a list of Windows apps that can be toggled individually.

It works fine ! I did not know you have to "activate" it !!!!

Now, I'll adjust the levels to gat a "good" recording
