I hate to be the guy to reopen this thread, but I am unfortunately having the same issue. My Realtek graphic EQ is not currently functioning.

My MoBo is an Asus Prime Z370A-II, and I just installed the Realtek UAD driver from their website today (6.0.9088.1)

I have tried setting the output mode to quadrophonic and 5.1, I have tried splitting the outputs, I have tried futzing about in the windows settings, nothing has made it work.

It seems to me that I am having the exact same issue as OP. Any advice would be appreciated.

    Hi,

The drivers package from ASUS are poorly packaged, which generates the fact that essential drivers of your drivers package are not installed (hence the phenomenon you are experiencing). Anyway :

You have an ASUS PRIME DTS Headphone:X v1 motherboard, so :

You need Realtek Audio Drivers (UAD - ASUS TUF/PRIME DTS HPXv1 MB) from the first post of this thread : [DRIVERS] Realtek Audio (MB | Intel 2xx/3xx/4xx/5xx & AMD 3xx/4xx/5xx).

Follow scrupulously your CLEANUP process then your INSTALL process, for the next drivers packages that I would release, you will can directly follow your UPDATE process.

Note : If DTS Headphone:X v1 app is installed, the equalization is done via DTS Headphone:X v1 app, if DTS Headphone:X v1 app is not installed, the equalization is done via Realtek Audio Control/Console app.
So I uninstalled The Realtek drivers and ran the script (AUDIO_Realtek_UAD_ASUS_TUF-PRIME_DTS_HPXv1_MB_v6.0.9159.1). The install went smoothly, and after a restart I started playing with the DTS software, but I can still hear no effect from the EQ (or any other settings for that matter).

Both my speakers and headphones are being run through an older Sherwood receiver, but to my knowledge that shouldn't have any affect on any digital enhancements.

Should I try uninstalling the DTS app and using the Realtek console?

Scratch that. After doing some unrelated hardware upgrades (fans) and restarting my PC a few times my DTS EQ now magically works.

Thank you MoKiChU for the solution. Your posts on audio drivers have been incredibly helpful.

I had the same problem and solved it the easy route.

JRiver is the way I went when I found that Foobar2000 was beyond my pay grade to manipulate and the Peace APO worked great originally but after a while I too found that the EQ was not working. I didn't need the EQ itself but the gain slider was great for lowering things evenly. That also quit working. Now that I use JRiver to play my music files I have had no issues. It's a much more user-friendly environment. Great good luck to the OP'er.
