    Completely lost al sound

I am using HP 550-153w All In One and W10 1909 Version 18363.836

I don't know what happened but I completely lost sound. I used to hear the Microsoft song when I started
and I had no trouble 4 hors ago, now there is no sound at all. I tried the troubleshooter but that did not work.
So I would appreciate some ideas, thanks

If you right click on speaker in Notification area > Sound volume mixer

    are any muted?

    Can you adjust?

If no issues there right click speaker again and Open Sound Settings

What is listed as "Output Device". Is that correct?

Scroll down to Advance Sound Options, click on App volume and device preferences. Review these. Have what ever app you are expecting sound from running.

I did what you said and nothing muted and I could adjust. I then did sound settings and ok
    The output device is correct
I have a radio station WDUV that I use and no luck either

I don't know if my Realtek driver is up to date, so I will try that tomorrow

    Thanks for the aid

Check those other location as well.

If machine is modern open the Realtek Audio Console and review it settings. (Might be call Realtek Audio Manger on older devices.)
