Volume Mixer Stuck Pinned in Front of Everything Windows 10.

When mashing the keyboard to wake my screen up I accidentally discovered the pinnable volume mixer window. For some reason I pinned it and now it's stuck above anything I'm doing. Can someone help me get rid of it please?

    Open Task Manager.
In the Processes tab look for the volume mixer app.
Kill it by right-clicking it and selecting End Task.

Thanks for your response but it doesn't show up in Task Manager. It disappears some of the time when I shut down rather than hibernate like I usually do but it comes back after a while.

Bump, It keeps coming back, 20-30 minutes after switching on.

    sounds similar (no solution offered).

    a. Identify the process (maybe you have). You can download e.g. Winspy (free) and drag its target over the mixer.

    b. Process of elimination to find origin.

Perform a clean boot (google or tutorial if unsure how), log in, wait 'long enough' to see if it appears.

    I searched for this

and clicked Images, found a matching one...

Actually this appears to be from Xbox Gamebar

Thank you. Using Winspy to identify it as Xbox Game Bar allowed me to close it properly.
