    Audio Sound

I recently set up dual monitors, one is using HDMI and the other VGA with an audio cord. I'm trying to figure how to do alternate the sound when watching videos or playing music. Currently I am only able to have sound come out of one monitor..Is there a way I cant get it to alternate sound between the monitors when audio is playing without having to always switch it manually? I have windows 10

    Hi and welcome!

You may set each app to desired output :
Right click on Taskbar speaker icon, Open Sound settings, scroll down to Advanced sound options and set output for each one app:

I did.. but what I'm trying to figure out is in my old setup with dual monitor..if i was to watch youtube for instance and dragged that window to a different monitor the audio would play from whichever monitor i dragged it to...but when i try to do that now the sound doesn't transfer to the different screen.

AFAIK, Windows cannot automatically do that.
Perhaps a third party app can or a member here knows better.

Because it's interesting, I've googled it and I found only this which is a paid app.

I wonder too, what your "old setup" could be...
