Can I adjust the volume setting popup timeout?

    Hi Guys, I'm back!

Well after all of the work to upgrade my Dell Inspiron 7110 to W10, I ended up buying a new Dell Precision 6800 laptop to replace it. Now I'm on W10 Pro and loving it. The OS is on a SSD and bootup takes 23 seconds. It also has a 1T drive as well.

Now, my question is about the popup window that appears in the upper left corner whenever I change the volume. Is there any way to adjust it's display time? I don't want to turn it off completely if possible but it hangs there for about 15 seconds which I would like to see change to 5 seconds. I have looked everywhere for a way to change this with no luck. I hope that one of you can help me on this. Thanks!

P.S. The Windows Version Number is 909 (OS Build 18363.815). I tried to update my profile but could not get into an editing mode on that page for some reason.

    Hi graywoulf, welcome back.

Yes, there's a windows feature that the "show notifications" display can be reduced to 5 seconds.

On the search bar type ease of access, open ease of access display settings. Scroll down to "Show notifications for" pull-down.

If you should decide that a 5 second display time is still too long, have a look at this third-party app that makes my life simpler for volume and brightness settings.

You can adjust both volume and brightness by simply moving your cursor above the indicator and scrolling. Or you can click the numerals and a box opens, set cursor over any bar and scroll or drag and drop.

It can be customized to only have volume and/or brightness sliders, depending on your preference.

@W10 Tweaker, Thank you very much for the help. Setting it at 5 seconds is just what I wanted. ClickMonitorDDC looks like a great app but just a little more than I need in this case. I will keep it in mind though as it looks like it has a ton of features.
    Thanks again!
