    Bluetooth audio has become intermittent

In the last few days Bluetooth audio has become intermittent when played through headphones (cuts out for a fraction of a second every 2 - 5 seconds). I've confirmed with two different sets (Anker and Bose). I ran the Windows troubleshooter and confirmed all effects are off. I've updated the driver for the headphones and installed the latest update for Windows (x64 Pro v1903). I still have the problem. Any tips appreciated.

Sorry I don't have an answer for you but would just like to add that my Bluetooth Headphones have become very difficult to connect to my PC with a BT Dongle. Sometimes when it does eventually connect I have the same problem of cutting out every few seconds and sound is distorted. Then when I get a suitable connection it will drop out sometime later.

Sometimes I can only get a connection if the Headphones are in pairing mode before I turn on the PC.

So, really just joining this thread to see if anyone has some suggestions.

BTW: Never have a problem on any Android device I own.

No sound from any bluetooth devices when playing over internet

    Hello guys,

    I have another strange issue.
I had connected my JBL GO bluetooth speaker to my laptop and when I play any video already stored in my computer, it just plays fine.
But when I go over any Internet websites and try playing any videos, the audio output comes from my Laptop and not from JBL GO.

I have tried with other different Bluetooth devices (Beats Studio-3 Bluetooth headsets, Boats bluetooth earphones), and the result was the same: able to play through these bluetooth devices when playing songs / videos stored in system, but unable to play through them when playing the videos over internet.

Thanks, MoKiChU. Based on info from Microsoft, it appears there are problems with Realtek's drivers (the ones I use), and Microsoft is delaying release of 2004 for affected systems until these are resolved. My system thinks it's up-to-date with 1903, so I think I'll wait till this is all sorted out and let my system update me when appropriate.

A year later and nothing has changed -- bluetooth (via Realtek-equipped dongle) does not work in Windows 10 Does MS pay so that the first few search returns for this problem all claim that it is solved? I find that new Linux kernels do support bluetooth and verified that Ubuntu-based Linux Lite OS works flawlessly with bluetooth. At the point that MS can't support basic driver functionality long after hardware is released and Linux does, can Windows please die?

I've been on 2004 for several months now and my headset works fine, finally.

I'm on 2004 and my Mpow dongle still doesn't broadcast continuously to my headset in Windows -- it works fine in Linux Lite (based on Ubuntu 20).

Same here. Sometimes it connects, sometimes it doesn't. When it does it will frequently drop in and out. Android no problem.
