    USB microphone isn't detected

I want to stream some game but can't activate my mic.I just looked in my recording devices and it looks like everything's all right, mic is physically connected but when I speak directly into the mic, those green bars at the right, not reacting at all. As far as I know, there should be some green bars on the right when i speak....

It's an usb mic and don't have any switches on it. it almost looks like it's physically connected but somewhere in windows, it's disabled. Symptoms are like that, but it looks like everything's all right.....
Just as a supplement, it's a Behringer C-1U USB mic and according to
Behringer website, it doesn't need any drivers. Just plug usb and it should work.

Have you set the privacy setting to allow the microphone to work?

In case you haven't checked yet, have you Right-Clicked on the icon which says "Microphone /3- C-1U /Default Device" as shown in your original image ; there are a few more setttings in there also which you could try such as levels, exclusive mode etc.

Problem solved. I took a walk to look at the problem with somewhat "fresh" eyes and checked everything one more time very carefully. Tried to put myself in a shoes of a person who don't have a clue about computers. And I found it. In properties of a mic, in a tab "Levels", there was this little red crossed circle on mute/unmute button.......
Of course, as soon as I unmuted mic, it started working. Thanks for all the advise guys:)
