Audio Losing Sync In Videos

I'm not sure about the USB. I've seen those with no Latency problems have the USB show up in Latency Mon.

Hey fireberd, I yield! I'm going to convert this PC to a "family" system and for guests to use when staying over. Let them pretend they're watching a dubbed movie! So it's time to choose specs. Generally I get one of the custom mid-level machines from the incredible guys at SilentPC.com.
My old system has an ASUS Z87 Deluxe 1150 Intel Z87 Intel Motherboard, with Intel Core i5-4670K Haswell 3.4GHz Quad-Core 84w CPU, and 16GB (2 x 8GB) Kingston DDR3. It has served me well.
Need to decide on specs. My uses:
Music:

• Basic recording to this point, guitars, vocals. But intend to start doing my own Melodyne work on my vox, maybe use soft synths but unlikely heavy use.
• When I'm editing tracks there can be 100 once all band tracks are input. Breakdown would be something like 10 drum tracks, bass, 8 guitar tracks, 6 keyboard tracks, and at times 35 vocal tracks / harmonies.
  
  I do NOT do my own mixing but am learning to play with effects and EQ.

Video: I'm just learning to use Adobe Premiere Elements for basic YouTube and Music video production. Up to now, I record videos with an external mic plugged in to Cakewalk, then EQ-effect the vocal, then export it and align in Premiere. I see on Adobe's site that for 4K video the minimum is an i7-7700. I don't do 4K now but if I keep THIS system 7 years, I'm guessing that 4K will become a standard in that time???

They have pricier systems with boards like Supermicro X11SRA-F Socket 2066 Xeon-W, Asus Rog STRIX X299-E, Asus X299 Deluxe II with Intel Socket 2066. Just not sure if it's needed.

If I were going for a custom built DAW system I would go with Jim Roseberry (often Cakewalk forum poster with helpful computer info) and his Purrfect Audio custom DAW system company. He builds systems for small home studios to high end recording studios and even TV and Movie studios. One of his big clients is American Idol. He also had the contract to build the DAW systems that Sweetwater music sells. He will set up/tune the system for the apps that the customer uses.

I do everything myself, recording, mixing and mastering. If a client wants Pedal Steel Guitar I do that. Its all done within Sonar. Mixed down and mastered with Izotope Ozone mastering software. I've had clients (I do traditional country music) compare my mastered mixes to what comes out of Nashville.

Thanks fireberd! Looks like they build very comparable systems though my guys don't do "tuning". Purrfect looks cool!
