    Windows 10, Realtek Audio problems

    I've been having audio issues for the past 2 - 3 weeks and after endless attempts of reading different forums and attempting to fix this myself I've come up empty handed. I'll list my problem and my attempts of fixing that I can recall on the spot below;

    So I have my headphones plugged into my desktop (Tried both front audio jacks and back ones) but the mic isn't detected in Recording Devices and the headphones themselves aren't shown in Playback Devices.

    I've checked Device Manager and Realtek High Definition Audio doesn't show up under "Sound, video and game controllers" only NVIDIA High Definition Audio.

    I checked "Show hidden items" and it seems that it isn't installed or atleast the drivers aren't so I attempted to reinstall (With much difficulty) the Realtek drivers. After many attempts and restarts nothing seemed to work.

    I've tried a complete reset of my desktop and still no luck. I've gone to ASUS' website and grabbed the drivers from their support forums that are suited for my motherboard and installed those. Again no luck.

    So I ran a DirectX Diagnostic to find the problem there. In the "Sound" tab it came up with this: No sound card was found. If one is expected, You should install a sound driver provided by the hardware manufacturer

    I was taken back since I thought I had already attempted this.

    So i checked for latest windows updates and I'm currently on the latest version. So i did another restart and still no luck.

    This problem has been giving me endless headaches and I have officially ask for help on the forums so please if anyone has a solution help me because it seems like I'm the only person to get this problem.

    So let me tell you what I have and see if that makes any difference or helps you in any way.
    Asus Z97-A/USB 3.1 Mobo.
    I have Asus Realtek HD Audio Manager installed (pretty sure I got that software from their Web site).
    Driver file is named: Realtek_Audio_Win7-8-81-10_V6017525.zip
    I'm running Windows 10 Pro 1909
    And when I plug my headphones in, they don't show up in Playback Devices either. I don't think the mic will show up in Recording Devices if I was to get that splitter I mention later. It doesn't show up now.

    See pictures below...
    When I plug my headphones into the front headphone port of my case, the Realtek Audio manager window pops up asking me what I just plugged in. I select Headphones, then it asks me to Select headphone type-I leave it at Auto. After that, I see the Asus Realtek HD Audio manager window, which I just ignore, and my headphones work fine.
    These headphones have a built in line mic that doesn't work right now but according to this Web site posted below, I need a splitter. I haven't tried it yet but it makes sense in order for the line mic to work.
