    No Audio after W10 install

    Hi,
I was using W7 but now upgrades to W10
    All installed smooth & fine.
I installed Thursday & today I notice No Audio Device I stalled.
I delete the two mentioned Audio items in device manager & using Driver Easy downloaded & installed there drivers etc.
Restarted notebook etc but still the same.
When I click on the icon by the clock & run trouble shooter it advises me there is an issue but that’s all it does.

I also went into services where I click a couple of audio items followed by restart but still I have no Audio.

Do you have any advice please.

Please complete the full details of your laptop, manufacturer and exact model. (Compare 'My computers' under my post). Roughly how old is it?

Post a link to the drivers page for your laptop.

Is your BIOS fully up to date?

Did you ever receive a prompt to update to Win 10 on your laptop, or did you simply choose to update manually?

What is the result of a search for your laptop running Windows 10? Check your manufacturer's support forum for comment.

You may have to download and use an older driver that is compatibile with your system.

Please, as prompted by the forum when you wrote your post, post the exact Windows 10 build number.

Note that upgrading to Windows 10 when a PC is not supported for it places the risk on you. No guarantees.

    Welcome to the Forum.

How di you do the upgrade?

Open Device Manager. Is there any yellow alerts of missing drivers?

    Welcome to Ten Forums @Ipbr21054

I see from your thread over on Seven Forums where we helped you prepare for this upgrade that you have now reset windows update. That allowed W10 to find and download the required drivers and get your sound working.

If you are happy that all is working normally now you could mark this thread as Solved.
