There's no Audible app for Windows so you must be using some app to listen to Audible Books. Like I said it's probably Groove Music app that you are using.

Okay now I have gone looking for it and seen it:

In the OP's case I still reckon that using a different audio player would help.

I can't find one for Windows to download and test.

Okay I see that there is a Store App. I cannot use that as Store has been removed on my machine.

If there is no setting within the app to hide the volume control then other than hiding it like you said - it might be better to use another app but maybe there isn't one that supports the format.

For my purposes which would just be as a test I find:

However without an account there's little point in downloading.
