Audio not working when plugging in any headphones jack

Last Friday this laptop came to my house and I used my apple earbuds and the audio worked perfectly. However, today (Sunday), the audio doesn't work anymore with any headphones (even with the same apple earbuds). The sound still happen in "Sound" control panel but nothing really comes in my headphones at all. Need much help. Audio not working when plugging in any headphones jack-no-sound.jpg

The problem is when I plug in my headphones. The headphones don't show up in playback tab in Sound control panel, so I can't really switch to the headphone.

Many laptops are wired this way, without a separate headphone.

Have you tried just turning up the volume or unmuting?

I tried turning up to 100 and unmuting (mute and unmute). Nothing changed.

    Try the following:

    - Go to Device Manager (Press Win key + X and you'll see a different menu to access it).

    - Uninstall your audio adapter (Should be under Sound, video and game controllers).

Get the Realtek drivers from the driver/support page of your laptop and install this.

Already did that. When I installed, the microphone didn't work, so I had to update it back to be able to use microphone again but the headphones still don't work though.
