Not The Same Youtube I Remember-Not Sure What To Do Here

    Hey :)

    Pretty cool looking site here.

    My Windows 10 Version:

    Version 1903 (OS Build 18362. 449)

I hope I posted this in the correct spot. My apologies for leaving out some of the info about my computer when registering, but I simply don't know what half of it means. I filled out everything I could. Upon until about a month ago I owned an HP All-In-One desktop. With that PC I used my Bluetooth settings to pair my Bose wireless headphones, and all was right. Sounded great.

The PC I have now is also a desktop but not an All-In-One. Anyway, I went to create a new playlist on Youtube, but during the process, I noticed that the audio and a bit of the video were nowhere near as good as they were with my last PC. I have absolutely no idea why this happening. I googled the issue and tried some things like right clicking on my sound icon in the system tray and other stuff. A lot of it I didn't understand. I know a little about stuff, but some of the solutions offered, were foreign to me, and I didn't want to risk making things worse by trying them.

I did check for updates for Microsoft and on my HP Support Assistant, but neither helped. I have no idea if I have the latest drivers and stuff. One suggestion I tried was enabling flash player in Chrome, but still didn't get anywhere. Firefox isn't much better. (I have both Chrome and Firefox installed.)

I really don't know what to do here. I think I recall reading something saying to uninstall and reinstall the Youtube app, but I didn't even know that was possible. It sounds drastic to me. I know that you all are very busy and that my issues are no more important than anyone else's here, but if you can help me however little, I'd be very grateful. Below is a screenshot of my installed programs. Maybe I'm missing something that should be installed maybe?

    Thank you.

    Hello Samuria

It sounds like someone who uploads a video they made at home, by simply aiming their webcam at the TV. Say for example that they're watching Seinfeld on TV. They decide that they would like to upload that particular episode to their Youtube channel. Not having a copy of that episode on disc or flash drive, they simply aim their webcam at the TV until the show ends. After it does, they upload the webcam version of the show. It of course sounds awful and distant. It's like hearing the audio from a long distance away type thing. I don't believe I have the software you linked me to installed. I can do so and get back to you. That okay?

    Hello :)

This is a little embarrassing to admit, but it turns out that the issue was my Bose headphones. Apparently all I had to do was completely disconnect them from my Bluetooth settings and try again. I did so, and the issue was still there. Here is the embarrassing part. There is a volume control on the phones themselves. I was aware of that, but I was under the impression that when I hear a loud beep, that indicates max volume. Out of frustration, I just held down the volume button and let 'er beep away. I then realized that they were getting louder and clearer! The damn beeps weren't indicating max volume, they were indicating the levels that result in a double beep to indicate max level.

I feel like such a jackass wasting your people's time. I am so sorry. I'm far from an expert as you can tell by my words above, but I like to think I know a few things.

P.S. Yes. The link he gave me was to an infected site, but I use Malwarebytes Premium and BitDefender paid version so no worries. I make it a habit to scan the setups for software from sites like that before running their software for this very reason. I do understand your reply Andrew129260 telling him about it. You don't want a great site like this to get a reputation for handing out dangerous links. Very understandable. Things like this happen from time to time. Samuria and I have never met so I doubt that he would try and harm my computer intentionally. (By the way, it's a pleasure to meet you both.)

What matters to me is the time and effort that you all put in to help others with their issues that many sites don't. We can't all be Bill Gates at the keyboard can we? lol I like this site. Maybe I'll stick around. To show that there are no hard feelings, I'll tell you a little story about how I was introduced to Malwarebytes years and years ago when I was just getting into computers. At the time if memory serves, MBAM charged like $20 or something for an account. I scratched together the money to pay for it, when my uncle told me, Jason, don't pay those leeches good money for that software. I asked why, he went on to say, just go to Piratebay and download it. I'll show you how to do it. I was very naive to torrents then, but I saw an opportunity to save a few bucks. No harm done. I set the program up and did a scan. It detected 1 infection. I checked to see what it could possibly be. It said this exactly:

"Don't Steal Our Software" I got as nervous as a hooker in church. I have never uninstalled a program so fast in my life!
