Windows 10 and external speaker issue

    The Dell documentation shows two different audio p;orts. One on the side is (apparently) a combo jack for mic and/or headset. Rear jack is for Speakers or headphone.

    Your initial post shows you trying to use the side combo jack. Try the rear audio port instead.

    The side jack may be a "TRRS" rather than standard "TRS" that speakers use.
