    Does this soundcard look okay?

    Hi

Does this look ok for a sound card?

    https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

My motherboards soundcard does not work. I then purchased a sound blaster z sound card. That now does not work. So i was looking for cheaper soundcards and came up with the link above.

I listen to a lot of music from my desktop. So i need something that is going to play audio very well.

The sb number? You mean the serial number maybe?

The problem with the z is, sometimes when i play audio it does not sound right. Sometimes it sounds okay.

Most of the time it the audio does not sound right.

Have you tried to disable Crystalizer, lower Surround, play with EQ and such?

Your description of not working appears to be just the setup and configuration of your Sound Cards.
That will not be auto-corrected by a 3rd card.

Go to Creative support, download and install the driver and also the User Guide and go thru the user guide.

Have you tried reinstalling the driver for the Z card? You can get it here: Creative Worldwide Support.

You only need to download the driver package.
