i am using gigabyte z170x from last 3years.
everything was working fine, today i have upgraded my casing,
when i installed everything started my windows and i notice a noise on my headphone,
noise raise up when doing anything or copy files.
noise started when i logon to windwos.
any idea guys ?
As the noise was not there before you changed your case, and the noise starts around log on time (so probably when windows is loading the sound drivers) I think you have a problem with your front panel audio connections. This could be a problem with the case (either a fault or a compatibility problem) or with the way you have connected it.
Do you have front panel audio connected to the motherboard ? (if so try with front panel completely disconnected).
Failing that check that there are motherboard stand-offs only fitted where they are required & that there is nothing shorting out any part of the motherboard or it's connections (particularly around the rear IO shield).
I have a noise from my old motherboard rear output, internal noise - a high pitched whine that changes as you do things with the computer. To 'fix' this I added an ART DTI transformer isolator between my PC 3.5mm output and my mixer/speaker input. This makes the noise a huge amount quieter, so I can crank my speakers and barely hear it at all. If you have optical/digital speaker output that should be noise free also. I cannot remember if my headphones are quiet in the rear motherboard output but I think it was quiet, only noisy for speakers. I don't have any noise on my analog front panel headphone output (I run simultaneous front and back outputs). I hope you can figure out your issue.
