    Should I have 2 sound drivers on my Win 10 device manager


    Noticed I have two sound drivers on my system (see jpg attached)...is this either normal or necessary...and should I delete/remove one or the other ??

    The other sound driver is for you to output your audio thru HDMI cable to your monitor's built-in speakers.

    I usually see 2 on my computers, this HP 15-g029 Notebook I'm on now has both an AMD and a Realtek driver.

    Yes you will see two audio with the new digital video outputs, even if your DVI or HDMI does not have a audio channel on the connection for the cable.
