speaker icon problem
When clicking on the speaker icon in the task bar,it no longer brings up the speakers to adjust the sound level
it was ok before installing V1903.,can anyone help,thank you.

The "Speakers" need to be reset as the default playback device.
I had to reset mine after 1903 update.
Go to Settings/System/Sound.
Most likely, if you had Stereo Mix set as default recording device that will have to be reset too.
The speaker icon reflects what is set as the playback device.
Thanks for the reply,I checked as you suggested but everything was ok.I ran a troubleshooter and sent a feedback
to Microsoft,so it`s watch this space for a reply.
Open Device Manager and uninstall audio device and driver, then reboot and let windows reinstall.
Finaly sorted it.Went to the SOUND section in settings,clicked on the "Sound control panel"double clicked
the speakers.Under "Speaker enhancements",enable sound equalizer and enable loudness equalizer were
both disabled,just ticked the two boxes,job done.Thanks again.
