Realtek has not updated their drivers on their website in a very long time.. 3-4 years I think....

since I have an ASUS motherboard..
I get all my Realtek UAD HD audio drivers from @MoKiChU.

I have never quite understood how the MUC search works. If you type in "realtek media", you do indeed only see old drivers. if however, you type in "6.0.9132", you will see the newer Realtek media driver. If however, you type in "realtek media windows 10" you will see the newer ones.

Use this search and sort by 'Last Updated' in descending order to see the latest drivers.

If you're not on 2004 or later, then replace in your search 'Vibranium' with either
    • your version number (e.g 1909, 1903 etc) Realtek Semiconductor Corp. MEDIA 1909
    • or with the current year Realtek Semiconductor Corp. MEDIA 2021

The point is, why do you have to include the OS and version - that is more restrictive than searching for just realtek, for which only older drivers show up. How does that search engine work? Must be pretty wonky.

It probably is....but what I proposed, is the best search i could find after quite a few tries, to get the most recent updates. It seems to be working so far... but who knows, what the Redmond geniuses will do tomorrow.

It was explained pretty clearly in my tutorial.

    8) Microsoft has an official depository for all their patches and driver updates --- Microsoft Update Catalog (MUC). Spend 5 minutes and try to search using a dozen combinations of realtek, OS nicknames (1903, vibranium), year (2020), type (media, usb, card reader), actual name of the file (realtek audio effects, realtek audio universal service, realtek hardware support)... Spend 5 minutes now will save you hours later.
