Hello, The version 9172 you shared for MSI caused problems on my system. First it started with a screen blackout a few times and then it started giving Blue screen errors. I also went back to version 9159, it seems there is no problem for now. Hopefully this problem won't recur in newer versions. It's really annoying.

So I have an ASUS ROG Zephrus G14 laptop. Which realtek driver should i have? I have windows pro version 21H1 installed. Build number is 19043.985. A little help here with finding the appropriate updated driver would be nice. By the way device manager does not have a Realtek HD definition audio driver. Only Realtek (R) Audio. By the way the motherboard is for the the AMD Ryzen 9 4900HS with Radeon Graphics 3.00 GHz CPU.

You seem to have a DCH (UAD) driver.
To update to the latest version, follow the steps in this post

To get information on the Audio driver currently installed, take a look at this post.

So I installed the drivers and the sound seems kinda muddy now. Doesn't sound very sharp. Version 6.0.9013.1 didn't seem to have this issue.

well asturias7 & Mervil 9143 UAD was available on MUC several days ago but only the Asus based 10.7Mb package was there until MS recently posted the "all OEM" 11.2Mb version

edit - speaking of 9143, MSI recently has a 9143 UAD version of their own posted on their web site (for many MSI laptops, desktops & motherboards)

here's a "full" 9137 UAD MSI driver (complete with many "Realtek Device Extension" 9137 INF files) if you need it, Texas Gore.
also bundles Installshield setup.exe installer - this one can be clean installed (aka installed with no previous version) or update from previous version
Link for the "full" 9137 UAD MSI Driver seems to be gone. Does anybode have a working link?

sorry I've been busy with family life for the past 3 to 4 weeks

here's the new link to the "revised" 9137 UAD MSI driver package, jensimbenz (hence a [repack] in the name for the download indicating a re-released or revised package)
and the "official" 9136 UAD MSI driver from MSI's web site (posted 5/11/2021).
