Latest Realtek HD Audio Driver Version [2]
-
Hello,
That tutorial won't teach me how to get the latest ASRock official driver package. One part will be on MUC about month later among "all OEMs" driver-only. But for the other part, SW components, I could never tell if/when they match the official driver...
I wonder if the time is really the issue here and I'm offering my assistance if I can help in any way.

It's all mix and match --- there is no need to get specific OEM driver packages from now on.
Microsoft created this new driver system so that Realtek has only have to give the driver (and the software components) to Microsoft's WHQL for testing once.

Think I need some help. I'm trying to get the most up to date Realtek Audio drivers (HDA) on my 2016 laptop. The Acer laptop site lists only 6.0.1.7773. Windows update installed 6.0.1.8158. When I download a generic version, like ANY generic version, it won't install, and windows device manager says the best drivers for my device are already installed.
Using ddelo's instructions and powershell script, it appears I have FF0C (FF00 with Intel (DTS/SST) Integration), and that hdxrt4.inf is needed for installation. How do I get this working?
Sorry to be impatient. I'm just REALLY frustrated with this issue. Usually I can easily update my realtek drivers, but for some reason I can't with this laptop. Any help is appreciated!!
Edit: Um, so I think I just realized part of the problem. It appears all recent Realtek drivers on MUC are UAD only. How do I tell which one's are UAD vs HDA? I need the HDA one's, but I can't tell the difference.

Here's hint :
AUDIO_Realtek_UAD_ASUS_ROG_SS3-DTS_MB_v6.0.9147.1
File sizes are also much smaller than full HDA.

Thanks Mike! So, yeah, it looks like I can just look for a 140-150 mb file and it'll be the HDA drivers. Should be easy enough. Thanks again!

It seems MUC started removing recent HDA drivers. I have for example HDA 9102, 9088 and 9071 on local disk, but for the first two versions there are now only UADs available, only 9071 still has 146 MB HDA download.

Hi everyone,
I will no longer release drivers for other OEMs than ASUS. if @
erpster4 or others want published their drivers package for others OEMs that ASUS, there is no point wasting my time, I already have enough to do with audio drivers for ASUS & all others non audio firmware/drivers actually.
Note @ users of erpster4 drivers packages : Third Party Extension/SoftwareComponent Drivers are not contained in its drivers packages (if there are any for your equipment), so using the Setup.exe installer for an update will uninstall > restart > install your Realtek Audio Drivers but this will also uninstall your Third Party Extension/SoftwareComponent Drivers without reinstalling them (so remember to reinstall them just after).
Sad to hear. Your hard work is/was very much appreciated. Thanks for all your efforts.

Thanks.
If I may add, for those interested and in need of, there are also updates to these components:
Realtek Asio 1.0.0.8
Realtek Audio Effects 11.0.6000.888
Realtek Audio Universal Service 1.0.0.356
Realtek Hardware Support 11.0.6000.247

To my ears version 9137 is way better than 9147.
9147 sounds cluttered and not distinct enough.
