Hello, MoKiChU. I want to ask a question. When I just set up my computer, I was using the 8849 version that Windows Update had installed. and I started using the MSI, Realtek updates that you shared now. My question is: Should I install the update over the update that Windows Update has installed, or should I uninstall it and install the update on the Realtek driver I downloaded from the motherboard's site with my own hand? Any problems occur? Also, both the old version 8849 and the new version 9155 appear in the Driver Store Explorer program. Do you think I should install clean? Is there any problem? Do I need to uninstall the old version and install 9155 with a clean install? Thank you so much.

If your previous drivers are HDA you need to uninstall and thoroughly clean up.
If you need help nuking the HDA drivers let me know.
If they are UAD drivers, you can just install over.
I recommend also after updating, to nuke the older driver version with Driver Store Explorer.(But you don't need to)

Thanks dude. I will always continue to install the MSI Realtek update shared by MoKiChU over the old version installed by windows update. Anyway there is no problem. Either an increase or a decrease in sound quality.

the station-drivers site is down for maintenance (after receiving enough donations to keep it alive)
try visiting the site Monday 5/10 rather than tomorrow Sunday - takes a few days to get things back up (all downloads there are temporarily unavailable and have to be restored)

Thanks TG appreciate it , sounds like 9155 maybe pretty close too from Cliff's new review....
