6.0.9102.1 UAD now available on MS Update:
Realtek_UAD_v6.0.9102.1
Thanks again @MoKiChU for the driver update
After some preliminary listening, I find 9107 sounds like it has a little bit more(maybe too much) compression as 9102, and clips a little along all frequencies.
Edit: Another words, it sounds like it was made for laptop speakers
9045 is still the purest sounding to date

no konstantinos77 & Cliff S. Realtek did not release an HDA FFxx equivalent 9045 driver to any OEMs nor to MS.
realize that HDA (non-UAD) driver releases are getting fewer and fewer since UAD drivers have gone mainstream in the past few years
there were, however, a 9038 HDA FF00 and 9054 HDA FF00 x64 driver versions from MUC (the 9054 HDA version was briefly listed in MUC searches in early Feb. 2021, then removed days later; 9038 HDA still listed in MUC searches - need to look for the 146Mb version of 9038, which is HDA)
Hi,
I discovered today that Intel changed over from the HDA version of the audio drivers for my PC to UAD.
I had been using the Microsoft driver on the Windows 10 partition instead because it had good smooth tonality, but lately it got too quiet for some reason so I went ahead and installed the UAD oem driver, in this case version 6.0.8854.1 as published by Intel.
Now it is much louder, twice over.
Apparently there is a new option in the control panel device properties called Signal Enhancements which is _not_ loudness equalization since that box is toggled off in the Realtek UAD console. This option doesn't exist for HDA on Windows 7. The text states "Allows extra signal processing by the audio device". As near as I can tell, this is some sort of bass boost, on top of anything else. This checkbox is activated by default, I have it unchecked currently.
Why is this activated by default? It distorts the sound. Has anyone else noticed this checkbox before and its effect on sound?
I also have the audio from the PC running out through HDMI to the monitor and out to the other input on the speakers for a listening test. Why are the Realtek UAD drivers so much louder than the Intel HDMI Audio out driver? The volume settings on the software player and the analog speakers are the same in both cases.. This is a 2.1 system and the attached subwoofer is definitely booming stronger with UAD than through the HDMI. Despite unchecking that checkbox, could it be that Realtek has a hidden internal equalizer separate from that of the one in the console app?
Oh, and a perhaps silly question, but is it normal that the volume on the HDMI out is the same between 1-100 on the Windows volume control? Even if it's a digital output to the monitor, the speakers themselves are analog and have their own volume control so shouldn't the volume be changing if I move the slider in Windows?

Note to Brink:
v6.0.9088.1 HDA FF04 WHQL generic X64 (w/ CXAPO integration) from MS Update (150.0mb cab download) (posted 3/03/2021)
WHQL for Windows from x64 Win7 to Win10
this is a generic FF04 version, not FF00 version
gonna switch from 9088 FF00 to 9088 FF04 version on my old HP computer - most older HP/Compaq PCs make good use of FF04 HDA drivers
6.0.9088.1 HDA is latest ..........and best !!
