Hey guys, care to share your audio equipment? How do you recognize that one driver has beeter sound than other? Because i don't hear any difference with previous drivers. I have started updating them around of time of HDA 8929.1 to the latest UAD 9013.1 and it seems like total waste of time. I have on-board audio with chip Realtek ALC1220 (Rog-Strix B450-I Gaming) and i am using headphones Sennheiser HD 599. There is a zero audible difference..
Just go to Youtube and look up Leonid and Friends videos (Chicago songs) and watch those from one driver to the next and boy you can definitely hear differences between them. I used to have Sennheiser PC350. You'll hear it in the drums and horns for sure. My new headset doesn't use the onboard Realtek since they are wireless and USB based.
The Leonid and Friends songs are recorded too loud and youtube normalized them.
Taylor Swift's "Look what you made me do" video --- 1 billion plus views, a pop song that has to survive in the loudness war, the budget to master correctly to provide Youtube's MAXIMUM allowable loudness (which is based from broadcasting standards) and escape Youtube's normalization process.
But as I said, get a calibrated microphone if you want to check.
MSI has 9013 on their website, so the rest of us can "borrow" their Realtek software components to update our Realtek Audio Console.

Just updated to Mokichu 9013 build for my ASUS ROGboard and need to say this build is impressive, and I've not been expected it to be like this since last time I've been using his drivers for my motherboard, where I've been had problems with Nahimic service. I've been using this 9013 driver since yesterday (updated over pal1000 8924), listened about 4-6 hours of my favorite psytrance/goa music, and must say this drivers makes my music more dynamic, more clear with a better, certain bass punch, which seems to go a bit lower. Hear almost 0 differences with this driver with no equalizer and with 8924 with equalizer adjusted. I'm happy and it gonna stay as my daily from now.
PS. I've been running pal1000 drivers without Nahimic service. Maybe it is it.
