Since you got all those nice audio equipment, I would suggest you buy a calibrated microphone (each individual serial number microphone has its own calibration file).

On my Rig 500 headset I can here the different bass frequencies with clearer separation between normal bass and the subs.
Also on my soundbar, a clearer separation between the soundbars bass(actually the mids speakers) and the subwoofer.
Crisp, but not overbearing digital high hats(tsss tsss tsss not tssssh tsssh tsssh).
