Please could someone be so kind as to let me know what the latest driver for my asus prime pro x370 is?

    It uses Realtek ALC 1220

i have read pages and pages of this thread and am totally confused at the amount of HDA's UAD's MUC's and .inf's that need to be manually updated in device manager. Is there not a simple driver package one can install? I'm just looking for the latest above and beyond my manufacturers page, apologies for double post it wouldn't let me edit my previous

I'm in the same boat as you.

I need the latest Realtek ALC 1220 driver just like you and I can't find it anywhere. If you find a safe source, please post!.

If you want one click installation for YOUR system's UAD driver, the only OFFICIAL source is your board's manufacturer Support page. Meaning that you stay with what your manufacturer has decided to offer for your audio device.
That's why it gets so "complicated" to update. And it got a lot worse with UAD drivers, as they're very specific to a system, besides the fact that they also need a whole bunch of other stuff (Software Components, Extensions and a Windows store offered Audio Console) to run.

    An example with MoKiChU's drivers.
The user needs to look at his product page to know which .inf installer to use(or look at his current driver/driver pack that is installed before updating), because of all the "other stuff" variations.

    Exactly!!!! Well put Cliff.
BTW, someone can find the INF needed for installation using the updated PS script, that now shows the inf needed for installation for both HDA and UAD drivers.

"And it got a lot worse with UAD drivers, as they're very specific to a system", that kinda takes U from UAD away.
