    " Have you tried the 8924??? ".........yes , tried indeed ; I find it not better then my 8904 UAD , which is very good !
    So, will wait untill 8945 HDA arrives , coz the generic UADs are gone............

    pal1000's generic UADs are still there including 8945.1

    UPDATE

    I just noticed that pal1000 has released build 8959.1 this evening.

    Just a note, that this version's install resets everything, at least it did here. (Like resetting 5.1 to stereo, reenabling devices had disabled, etc.)

    Update: Also, upgrading Windows resets the driver to 8904 because that's whql, therefore requiring reinstall of 8959.

    Unzip the package to a temporary directory and run setup.cmd as administrator, after that just follow the onscreen instructions.
    He has changed the procedure slightly in version 8959.1 but I haven't tried that out yet. I took a brief look at it and it enables different options on the install.
    If it's your first try of his drivers I suggest you first try one of the earlier ones first. If you run into any problems please post back here.
