hence the ban
Here you have it ready to install, it is the same but with the setup!
Realtek High Definition Audio (UAD) 8854 (Only Gigabyte, other motherboards removed)
And all this is a consequence of a single person who said something negative to him? I can't believe it. Does anyone know anything else?
He has history of doing this in Asus Rog Strix Z390 Forums earlier in November !
He is very helpful on Realtek , but equally sensitive to any criticism !
Did anyone saved the 8854 for ASUS ROG-PRIME-TUF?
Mokichu was banned? What??
Read >this<, you have to build it manually. Do it exactly how it says to.
To find your Realtek IDs, you run devmgmt.msc and find your realtek audio device, open its properties -> details -> hardware ids and copy-paste it into "Universal Audio Driver Inf Editor" (UADInfEditor_v1.39.exe) in the following way:
4 symbols after "VEN" -> Vendor ID
4 symbols after "DEV" -> Device ID (my Realtek's ID is 1168 for example)
first 4 digits after "SUBSYS" -> SubVendor ID
last 4 digits after "SUBSYS" -> SubSystem ID
As for "ThirdParty" - you have to put whatever you downloaded as 3rd party software (let's say A-Volute) into a folder named "ThirdParty" just like the manual says. Personally I would download "All", because "Universal Audio Driver Inf Editor" should choose only what's needed for your specific device ID anyway I suppose.
Yeah, even alanfox2000 doesn't have for example the 8855 version files, but Mokichu somehow did.
I guess then he should've added to all his posts something like "If you don't like it - shut the hell up and don't use it", at least everybody would've known the guy hadn't felt like listening to any criticism. I might understand why he is like that - he spent his time building packages for the people he didn't know, it was kind of a favor so people should've been more polite and calm towards his work, on the other hand - I guess the post after which he deleted everything on the asus forum was asking why he reposted the links to the packages everytime, it wasn't even criticism...
Anyway it's sad that we will have to find those updates elsewhere. It would be a bit easier if someone shared the login details for the server which they downloaded the drivers from...
" Why doesn't Realtek release newer driver after R2.82 ? "...............very good question , I suggest you ask Realtek..............
