    8773 is pretty good all-round.
For bass, the kick is fine, but the bass-punch you hear from the mid range speakers is more like a push, if you know what I mean, more a "P"oooom, than a "B"oooom.
But the sub bass is really clean & clear

You can sty with 8751 as that one has really nice punch.

But 8773 has fixed a problem with the UAD I had when listening to YouTube on Chromium based browsers.

If you want newer ones IntelliMoo you can always try out the pal1000 unofficial drivers. I've been using them for a few months now and they work fine
Oh yeh? I thought he only posted UAD? I haven't bothered to make the leap from HDA (and not sure I'd want to seeing UAD loads a lot more resident processes compared to HDA -- not that that really matters these days, but call me a minimalist. :))

Basically what pal1000 does is modify the UAD drivers so they can be installed on non UAD compatible systems. Looking at my system (non UAD compatible) there are only 2 Realtek Audio processes running so the overheads are low. As HDA drivers get more scarce it's worth giving the modded drivers a try as you can easily revert to HDA if you decide to.

Ah OK, that's pretty cool then. Will definitely consider it when the next miraculous UAD version is praised upon. :>
