Its ; 8781.1_UAD_WHQL_2019_0823_ELY5U .........and , indeed a perfect sound , I think its much better then 8773 , this one is a keeper........!!

I'm curious why you chose the compal driver instead of the MSI Nahimic one?

I have Nahimic 3 and can't get enhancements to work for a while now. I'm using Nahimic from the windows store and I tried both the driver you suggested, and the one labelled as MSI Nahimic.
- The one you used 8781.1_UAD_WHQL_2019_0823_ELY5U allowed me to launch Nahimic 3, however, no audio enhancements work at all. Zero functionality so basically just realtek drivers working.
- The MSI Nahimic 8781.1_UAD_WHQL_Nahimic_2019_0823_152000 will not work with Nahimic 3 from the windows store.

I used to use Nahimic 2 and even tried reverting to that when the enhancements stopped working, but the audio I found to be terrible in this version and it causes my system to lag. I wish to go back to using Nahimic 3 which, until recently, was great.

What am I missing here that's causing me grief?

I wish to add that I think I may need to use UADInfEditor. I have given it a go but I'm not sure if it can / how to bundle in the A-Volute files so that it can communicate with Nahimic 3. I followed the only documentation that I could find which is in the wiki here however it doesn't mention what to do with the extra files.

The other versions of github did not install , always used the UAD Nahimic versions , they updated fine ................untill Nahimic removed the HDXRT--files from there installers .( why ?? )
So , had no other option and used 8781.1_UAD_WHQL_2019_0823_ELY5U , very good with dolby enabled , pure , rich bass and drums , its a real sound-improvement...........

ALC283 HDA versions here, I was on 8750 for the last while and it was pretty ok. Today I tried a handful of versions out.

I will say that I found the currently popular 8781 to have a "harder edge" sound than 8648 which I found to be slightly warmer/fuller and vocals are slightly different too.

Might be worth it for you to compare between these two versions only. Both are good, but they don't sound the same.

Well damn, sounds like I have another "on-the-fly remastering" version going on! lol

Especially the vocals, they sound like they're remixed more up front. Everything else sounds pretty distinct and good, with improved bass for sure.

I'm giving up with the UAD versions as I cannot seem to get Nahimic 3 to work with them since a windows update.

I'm having trouble finding newer version than HDA 8172 that will work with Nahimic 2.5.31

If anyone has had experience with this please let me know

Have you tried drivers from a newer MSI laptop model (directly from MSI's website)?

I gave up on trying to use Nahimic at all. It's garbage.
So I use HDA 6.0.1.8308 to get all the effects from whatever it is in there (Realtek themselves?) instead of Nahimic. The newer drivers are missing all effects unless you install Nahimic *hurl*. So until I find a way to work around that, I stay on older drivers.
