All the drivers I listed are HDA drivers. Hence my confusion.

Yes, technically we, as users in this forum, have been using HDA to mean non-UAD drivers, and UAD for UAD drivers - but, again, technically, the UAD are still HDA drivers.

AlanFox2000 puts out both UAD and non UAD drivers - I was using the Generic FF00 for my ancient system for the longest time, until folks here pointed me to Pal1000's unofficial Generic UAD drivers. If you look carefully at AlanFox2000's Git, you'll see that he puts out both, and in one of the packages he always has multiple types (Type FF00, FF01, FF0C, etc) so that you can extract the one that you need and install it - that package is the generic HDA driver. The driver you quoted is a non UAD driver, So it includes the Realtek sound panel, the audio panel from the MS store won't work with it.

If I down load these generic Microsoft store drivers do they come with an eq ? Like the eq , listening amp level , seround sound ect ?
How do you access the panel ?

I'm used to asus rog real tack and sonic suite so just asking before I make a mess or brake somthing that doesn't need braking lol

Don't bother with the Realtek Generic drivers, just download the correct ones for your motherboard from the
ASUS site.
