    Hi.
I just build my pc and I think my Windows already updated all my drivers but something that bothers me is there's no loudness equalization in my sound setting like my laptop with Windows 7 has.

When I went to the official Realtek website, it's confusing me which drivers should I download.

Could someone help me to fix this problem?
    I'm using motherboard ASRock B450M Pro4.
    You don't install a 2017 driver on a 2021 computer.

New drivers must use the included installer setup.exe to install correctly, don't use device manager to install driver initially.

After you installed the 9038 driver from Asrock's website, run Microsoft Store to download Realtek Audio Console. All the configurations are done in RAC.

After you got the Asrock OEM driver installed correctly and RAC working correctly, you can follow my sticky tutorial to update your driver from Microsoft Update Catalog --- which will bring you to 9172.

    Hello,

Download this 9038 UAD package from ASRock and install it. Then go one page back, to the post #3484 by MoKiChU (look at the bottom for ASRock UAD 9180). Install it (run bat file included) then go to MS store to get the latest RAC.
There is no valid reason to simply send people to unofficial drivers when the official channel is merely 3 weeks behind --- especially for non-Asus drivers because MoKiChU had previously on numerous occasions cut off his non-Asus driver updates. It's not like Microsoft Update Catalog is never going to get 9180 --- it's going to show up on MUC something like July 16.

I finally got around to testing 9180.1 It's ok, but the highs and mids are a little lower than 9175.1 was.
    9137.1 still the best

Hey, guys. Does any of you know if those components included in the HDA driver pack installation work when using analog out?

    DTSBassEnhancementDLL64.dll
    DTSBoostDLL64.dll
    DTSGainCompensatorDLL64.dll, etc.

Fair enough, I am getting drivers from this forum for a long time and eventually all of them turned up as official. I regard drivers from station-drivers or pal1000 as "unofficial", but still, for such unnecessary complicated and problematic driver I don't see the point in forcing the "official" stance.
Personally, It costed me 3 days of searching in vane so I would be better off using e.g. pal1000 set-and-forget modded package. Also, I have no problem getting drivers from people I consider trustworthy.

Your comparison is not even remotely close to fair enough.

Your ASRock Z270 Extreme4 has a OEM HDA driver with DTS. Jack666 has an ASRock B450M Pro4 with a plain OEM UAD driver.

You have no choice but to look for unofficial drivers. Jack666 has a massively simpler official updating method.

Do you see the point now that what's good for you is completely inappropriate for Jack666?

Sorry, but that is wrong. I don't require unofficial drivers for DTS whether HDA or UAD. Any FF00 HDA driver gives me DTS options in control panel.
In the beginning when I switched from HDA to UAD, I was using only MUC drivers and software components (official stuff) and I always had an option to switch DTS on or off straight in RAC.
You can look at the Z390 Extreme4 download page, there is 8750.1 driver that works for my board as well.

Later I found it much more convenient to download a single archive and update everything as it is posted here, rather than chasing broken MUC search engine for driver and separately for components.

You can also check your own post regarding DTS and my board.
