If you "already" have UAD installed, you can use device manager to update it to the one posted by MoKiChU.
He creates driver packs with the sonic studio(A-volute) updates/and or DTS too.
What you see from him are complete installers that have stuff/Information ASUS motherboards need for a clean install.
But if you only want the Realtek driver you can use device manager to install it, I did this with one of his HDA drivers(9132.1) on my MSI Z170A PC MATE motherboard.

When I say stuff/information I mean for HDA the Audio manager, or the data needed for the correct UAD audio console.

Okay I think i have a older integrated sound card on my Mobo it's a Asus x99a
so i don't think a UAD driver will work for me i am currently using pal1000's Realtek-UAD-generic/releases of drivers

Hardware requirements : ASRock/MSI motherboards with Realtek Audio Drivers (UAD).
Hello guys. I have AsRock B560M Pro4 and i installed audio driver from my motherboard support page and then installed this one. Problem is( it is same with all drivers) that noise suppresion and aec echo remove from Realteks Audio COnsoles Microphone effect do nothing. Before i bought this pc i had some old one with classic realtek control panel, and when i click on that two options there my microphone was amazing, but now these functions do nothing on my new pc and microphone is bad. My friends hear themselves when we talk on discord, they hear my ingame sounds etc... Do you know what could be the problem?

Is ASRock ditching support for some boards?

    Hello.
I've spent more than 2 days trying to wrap my head around Realtek UAD drivers, before I opened "Realtek Pandora Box". Finally, I managed to switch from HDA to UAD but ever since, I suddenly lose sound or get "no output device" error.
There are lots of questions and unclear things around my installation of UAD, my ASRock board and ASRock itself.

But what I would like to ask first is much simpler. I have ASRock Z270 Extreme4 board.
Few days ago, MoKiChU posted a link to ASRock HDA v9126_FF00. The original post got edited and link removed and I have no idea how to get such link so I just changed numbers and "fished out" v9116_FF00 and v9132_FF00.
Looking at v9116 I noticed a "facelift" - there is HDXAsrock.inf (correct spelling in contrast to HDXAsrok.inf).

My HWID is HDAUDIO\FUNC_01&VEN_10EC&DEV_1220&SUBSYS_18491220 and is listed in HDXAsrock.inf.
But to my surprise, it is missing from HDXAsrock.inf in v9126 and v9132... The usual place where my board's HWID is listed for older/other official HDA drivers is HDXRT4.inf, including MUC downloads.

So I'm wonderind if ASRock is ditching some boards, including mine?
To make this more confusing, all of mentioned HDA drivers contain file HDXRT4.inf. Same for the latest ASRock v9126 and v9132 but the file doesn't contain my HWID. Yet another peculiarity, a file common to all drivers is HDXRT.inf, which contains what seems to be "shortened", or more generic HWIDs, like:

    Code:
"Realtek High Definition Audio" = IntcAzAudModel, HDAUDIO\FUNC_01&VEN_10EC&DEV_1220
If my understanding is correct, this would allow the driver to install on any ALC1220 board, but this doesn't make sense to have Asrock.inf or HDXRT4.inf listing specific ALC1220 HWIDs at the same time with HDXRT.inf that would permit installation on all ALC1220 boards.

To conclude, v9116 is the last ASRock driver that explicitly lists my HWID, while v9126 and v9132 list only short HWID in HDXRT.inf (like all HDA drivers). My question is if those two latest drivers would install on my board and if yes, what is the purpose of this redundancy? Totally confusing...

    Thanks in advance.

So it seems like Realtek audio drivers (the 10-11MB UAD package from MUC and MoKiChU's) cause my Windows boot times to increase significantly. This happens consistently, and I finally got around to trying to isolate this today to see what was actually causing it since my boots were nearly-instant right after fresh installs.

It takes me about 2-3 full circle rotations (maybe 6 seconds) to get from the boot screen to the log-in screen with any Realtek driver installed. Without any driver, I get 2/3rds of a circle (tiny bit over 1sec).

    Anyone know why this is?

Alternatively, do I even need specific drivers I wonder? I've been installing audio drivers for different platforms for years and can't say I've ever noticed a difference. I don't do any EQ and use a relatively average 2-speaker set-up. My only real interest in drivers is to possibly offload audio work from the CPU, but I'm not sure if that's even a thing since the WinXP days.

@MoKiChU For Gigabyte motherboards, the latest UAD driver for Realtek sound cards is 6.1.0.9129? I am not interested in HDA F00 drivers or UAD drivers from pal1000

    Hi,

You have an ASRock Realtek motherboard (which use UAD drivers : HDXAsrok.inf as main driver & HDX_WhiteExt_RTK.inf as extension driver), so :

    - Uninstall your current Realtek Audio Drivers (HDA).
    - Install Realtek Audio Drivers (UAD) from the ASRock Z390 Extreme4 motherboard support page (last one for your motherboard type) : https://download.asrock.com/Drivers/..._WHQL_DTS).zip.
    - Automatic installation of Realtek Audio Control/Console after rebooting, if not, install it manually : Link
    - Install my ASRock Update Only UAD drivers package : Latest Realtek HD Audio Driver Version [2].
Thanks MoKiChU, that is exactly, step by step, what I did. I wish you told me this before I went through every single page (!) of this thread to find the driver, which could be used for HDA to UAD switch.
BTW, I found the very same driver for AMD X570 AQUA and suitable v8660 for Z390 Taichi.

Anyway, I had HDA v8051_FF00 ever since I build the PC back in February 2017 (unfortunately, the same driver is still listed as the most current one). So, more than 4 years I had no sound problems. But then in mid March I switched to UAD v8750 and tested it for 2 days. It worked so I updated to (then latest) v9098 driver and software components 11.0.6000.860 from MUC.

This was working for 12 hours then I got 2 cracks while viewing youtube, then silence. The "VU meter" in sound settings was showing audio being played but my headphones plugged in the rear green jack were silent. Even restart didn't help, I booted Live Debian to check if my board is OK and found that I have sound under Linux, but have to power cycle to get it back on Windows. So I uninstalled the driver and installed v9038.

This one didn't work already after installation reboot (had to reboot twice), then the next error occurred on the third day when machine was idle. I tried to play .mp3 via Groove Music and got an error that there is no sound device, or it's incorrectly configured. So I moved to v9045.

At this time I started suspecting that my audio chip is going bad, but the fact I absolutely had no problems for 4 years, and that problems appeared only after I started messing with audio drivers was strong argument against bad chip but I'm still unsure.

Then I saw your ASRock HDA v9126 post that made me worried ASrock discontinued support for my MB.

After that, I uninstalled Audio Console, rolled everything back to v8750, disconnected internet and used Realtek uninstaller, removed one "remnant" with RAPR, installed back v8750 and updated driver and components from your latest UAD v9137 ASRock package. All this with lots of intermediate reboots. Plugged back the internet and installed Audio Console. Now I'm counting days till I'll boot machine and have no sound.

So that's why I'm interested in old-fashioned HDA as the idea is to eventually go back to HDA driver and see if these problems persist to conclude if they are due to software or my hardware. That is why I would really like to know if HDA v9132 would install on my board.

There are some other problems with ASRock, created by RGB Aura that prevents separating front and back outputs and complete lack of audio jack retasking, because RGB LEDs have a "music" mode in which change in their color/intensity is modulated by the audio stream, so they used one output just for that and disabled really useful features... but this is a topic for a new post, if not a thread.

Thank you very much for your reply!

There is no reason for Windows Update to try to touch your drivers knowing that you have the latest drivers suitable for your hardware. So, for the next drivers packages that I would release, you will can directly follow your UPDATE process and you will have no worries.
I didn't turn off internet because WU, it never touched any of my drivers (actually only once, when Windows updated and was incompatible with Intel gfx driver so I didn't have output on HDMI, only DVI). I disconnected internet simply to avoid getting older Audio Console (for v8750) after complete rollback, then getting it back when reinstalling.

What worries me is that I possibly can not install HDA v9126+.
