The netflix app does provide 5.1 dolby digital plus --- on the 5.1 soundtrack. Since you are using 2.0 soundtrack, it doesn't give you dolby digital plus.

HI @MoKiChU and other Realtek driver geeks.

Just so you all know, you can also update your HDA drivers with MoKiChUs' ASUS ones, if you do it through Device Manager.
I just used them to update my Z170A MSI PC MATE's drivers

I'm a little confused about the audio driver and would be grateful for some guidance.
No PC here has access to Microsoft accounts or the store. That's never going to voluntarily change.

All the PCs are on 1809 x64 LTSC.

I am confused about what drivers I need. I know I don't want UAD. That's the one that needs the store download, right?
I do want the version that has the realtek HD Audio manager

I downloaded the latest version from here HD AUDIO DRIVER which is supposed to be the HDA drivers, but after installation there is no HD Audio manager.

Motherboards are either MSI or ASRock. Z370, Z390, X299 and Z590. Typically ALC1220 or ALC4080.

From memory the full software bundle was over 250MB. Most of the downloads I'm seeing are around 100mb, or the UAD ones are about 50mb. The ones on Microsoft update catalog are 10mb - I gather I definitely do not want that?

It is the HDA driver I'm looking for, right? Where might I find that with the Realtek HD Audio Manager?

Does anyone have DTS Sound Unbound 1.3.3 APPX - or any version from 2018 / 2019?

I've searched for it all over the web, @alanfox2000 had a MEGA.nz link that's down :/

In my index in my signature, only UAD audio drivers are ASUS specific, firmware and all the others drivers can be used with other OEMs without any issues.
For other OEM's - for instance on my Acer Predator (laptop), is there a way to use your Asus UAD drivers with some modding?

    Hi,

Maybe, but not from me anyway sorry, @erpster4 and @Shonk have published drivers for Gigabyte several times, there is no point wasting my time doing duplicate things, I already have enough to do with audio drivers for ASUS & all others non audio firmware/drivers actually.
That may be true, but they only post generic drivers that don't help others, like myself, who aren't as savvy at updating their Gigabyte (Creative) drivers. I find your compilations are much easier to use, with way less margin of error for dummies like myself.
