    Hi,

Which Windows 10 version/build are you using ?

    Also, please provide me :

    - Your hardware ID (Device Manager > right-click on Realtek (High Definition) Audio device > Properties > Details tab > Select Hardware Ids in the dropdown list).
    - Your DriverStore .csv extract with Driver Store Explorer (File > Export Driver List).
    Here you go:

    Windows 10
    Version 2004
    OS build 19041.329

    Hardware ID
    HDAUDIO\FUNC_01&VEN_10EC&DEV_1168&SUBSYS_10438733&REV_1000
    HDAUDIO\FUNC_01&VEN_10EC&DEV_1168&SUBSYS_10438733

    DriverStore
I don't know how to easily attach a .csv so I will paste as Notepad - apologies

Re-follow scrupulously your CLEANUP process then INSTALL process, but this time to prevent Windows Update from generating a drivers install conflict, disable your Internet connection from the start of the INSTALL process (before cleanup step) until the end of drivers install of the INSTALL process (after the restart). For the next drivers packages that I would release, you will can directly follow the UPDATE process.
Hey bro before I started the process previously I pulled my internet cable out to make sure Windows does not try to mess with me before I install new drivers, sorry I forgot to mention this

Check that the Enable Audio Enhancements setting in [Windows Sound settings > Speakers properties > Advanced tab] is checked.

If it still does not work, sorry, try to use the latest audio drivers package from the support page of your motherboard, or if necessary, clean install Windows 10.
The Enhancements tab is not there

No problem - I think what I will do is uninstall current driver and clean reinstall HDA as that was working good with Realtek Control Panel.
The uninstall process for your drivers can be done via DriverStore force deletion? Since there is no entry in Control Panel < Programs and Features?

Well, so if you want switch to HDA drivers :

You need Realtek HD Audio Drivers (HDA - ASUS ROG/PRIME/TUF DTS&RTK) from my ROG HDA drivers thread.

Follow scrupulously your INSTALL process with cleanup step, for the next drivers packages that I would release, you will can directly follow the UPDATE process.

Note (in order to choose correctly the install/update process to use) : You have a ASUS PRIME RTK motherboard.
All sorted - no Win10 clean install neccessary :)

Running HDA 6.0.8940.1 with Realtek HD Audio Manager which allows me to bump the bass and treble to my liking.

    Thanks for trying @MoKiChU

I have followed the instructions carefully but noticed since installing UAD (previously had HDA), the Realtek Audio Console does not have an equalizer, is this a bug?
3.5mm adapter(speakers) in my case headphones doesn't have the EQ

But Realtek Digital Output(optical output/toslink) does

If you have SonicStudio III you don't need the EQ, in fact it's not a good idea to use multiple EQs., as it will throw off the timers/tickcount(ACPI,QPC, RTC) of playback device and listening device before it passes though the systems DAC.

    Hi Cliff S,

When a third party enhancement is built-in with the drivers (e.g. SS3 APO, DTS 3x/4x APO, etc.), and the appropriate app is installed (e.g. SS3, DTS app) the Realtek Audio Control equalizer for jack 3.5mm will be hided and the equalization will be done via the third party app. If you do not install the third party app, the Realtek Audio Control equalizer for jack 3.5mm will be displayed and functional. Only OEMs like GIGABYTE allow the use of the Realtek Audio Control equalizer for jack 3.5mm in parallel with that of the third party app.
That's what I meant, but you explained it better(clearer)
But I wasn't sure if ceaton88 had SS3 or the like.

Same board? I think I read somewhere that this version does not work so good on Windows 2004 which is the only reason I changed for the latest HDA.

After some research, someone has already suffered the same thing that you, and it was his previous HDA drivers install badly uninstalled that caused this issue, he did a clean install of Windows 10 and the issue was fixed.
Thanks for letting me know, there is no obvious benefit for me to format in a hurry so I will wait until the next time before switching. I am using nVidia Standard Drivers and not DCH as well but next time will use DCH and UAD because it seems we are being pushed in this direction anyway.
