well my Gigabyte board recently got a quantum leap of a new UAD driver - 6.0.8945.1 which was recently released on Gigabyte's web site (search that site for newly released Z490 AORUS motherboards - the 8945 uad driver there is available for those boards). also Realtek Audio Console app updated to v1.11.217.0 as shown in the pic (requires v11.0.6000.217 of the RealtekHSA.inf file packaged in Gigabyte's Realtek UAD 8945 driver to obtain 1.11.217.0 of Realtek Audio Console from MS store)

let's see if other motherboard makers like ASrock, ASUS, MSI, etc. can beat Gigabyte's new 8945 Realtek UAD Driver, hah!
Assuming i can use this on my AORUS X570 Elite?

    I'm currently on 6.0.8854.1

Hello all, i 'm new here in tenforums even though i had to read usefull stuff many times in the past
First of all i 'd like to apologize if what i 'm looking for is already answered but honestly i wasn't lucky to find it.
I have a Gigabyte AORUS Gaming 5 motheboard which has integrated Realtek ALC 1200 codec if i 'm not mistaken. The specific codec gave me endless headaches when trying to set things about audio up and running. I tried various ways but at last i always end up with something not working...

This m/b up on the initial onboard audio setup it downloads automatically the Sound Blaster X 720 software. It does something good quality but, if it is uninstalled for any reason it can't be reinstalled. Right? Is there a way to force windows redownload it and have once again available?

As for the driver installation i have found after reading some tens of pages here in tenforums that there are plenty of ways to go. I have tried almost every one. Vendor HDA driver 8586 which is outdated and i can't get any output at all, let Windows 10 install it's default HDA driver which is from 2017 (!), cleanup everything and install the latest HDA Realtek 8924 or even cleanup everything again and try the Pals UAD audio driver which installs the audio cosole from store and works really fine (great job Pal).

Now i will try to describe my little problem and if you could help me i would be greatful.

If i install the Gigabyte provided 8586 driver i get no sound. Looks it is blocked. So out of the question?
If i let Windows install the HDA driver i get various issues like "Speaker Fill" option do not work or i do not have some options like "Smart Headphone Amp" level switcher in speakers tab at all. AORUS ALC1200 support front channel amplification.

When i install latest HDA driver 8924 i get random problem same as windows default driver functionality missing options and some times it doesn't work at all and besides the previous cleanup with DDU i get some leftovers from Realtek driver which i have to remove with Driver store explorer to work.

If i install any UAD driver Sound Blaster x 720 software reports that it can't detect the audio device. Strangely after an UAD update with the latest version eliminated the message but i can feel that even though the SB gui is running it doesn't have any impact on audio output no matter the settings.

It is frustrated i can't set it up correctly. I get sound right - ok. I want to have everything working the right way if is it possible. I want your recommendations about it and if you can help me get out of this frustration i 'd really appreciate. Thank you.

The trouble with this latest driver Last Updated: March 23, 2020 HDA DRIVER VERSION: 6.0.8924.1
is that the Realtek Audio Console does NOT work with it. So I have no way of using an equalizer without having to install a 3rd party system-wide equalizer, which I don't want to do. I rolled back to the previous driver I was using, 6.0.1.8668, which works fine with the Console.
    I am running Win10 2004 on a self-built computer with ASRock Z390 Phantom Gaming 4 motherboard.

latest FF03 HDA driver is still 6.0.8816.1 from mid-October 2019.
ask either ASUS, MSI or Nahimic support to obtain updated FF03 Realtek audio drivers if you want anything newer than 8816.

oh yes you can use the 8945 UAD driver on your Gigabyte Aorus X570 Elite board, jbennett360
all the necessary INF files are there. if 8945 uad works on my Gigabyte board, it should also work on yours
Gigabyte seems to list new UAD drivers for recent boards like B550 Aorus Elite.

    ---

just in - 8940 UAD (non-generic) from MS Update Catalog (supports many OEMs though)

and 8934 HDA FF01 "generic" 64bit driver from MS Update Catalog (149.4Mb cab download)
WHQL for x64 Windows from Win7 to Win10

only newer standard HDA FFxx drivers will continue to have the generic hdxrt.inf & hdxsst.inf files as Realtek is no longer including hdxrt.inf & hdxrtsst.inf in newer UAD drivers beyond 8904

wow MS has just posted a generic v6.0.8940.1 HDA FF04 x64 driver on MS Update, Brink (148.9mb cab download)
    though this one is WHQL for x64 Win10 only, non-WHQL for pre-Win10 versions like Win7 & 8.x.

This one seems to be giving me issues i think on my X570 Elite.

Noticed lately an increase of CPU temperature, really random. Upon opening task manager, System Interrupts would always be at the top then quickly drop.

I've uninstalled the Realktek Control Panel and disabled the Realtek Audio Device in the Device management and things seem to have settled down a bit now?

I'll leave it disabled for now and monitor it. May look at rolling back if i need too.

I can't remember the last time i used my speakers, mainly use headphones now.

Hi guys, so I just build my pc with B450 Gaming Plus MAX motherboard on Windows 10 Pro version 2004. I installed the latest Realtek HD Universal Driver (include Nahimic Driver) from MSI's website (version 6.0.8945.1) as well as the Nahimic 3 and Realtek Audio Control applications from Microsoft store. I can access all these apps without any problem. However, I still can't connect my earphone & headphone 3.5mm jack into the front panel audio jack of my case. It won't detect any device and won't play any sound... The rear panel audio jack works fine though after installing those drivers.

I have made sure to properly plug in the HD Audio cable in the right header on the motherboard. I have enabled the HD audio in the BIOS setting, and also tried ticking (and unticking) the 'Disable front panel jack detection' in the Realtek Audio Control app. None of those fix the issue. Anyone knows any solution to this?

Good day. I have a big problem, I bought a Gigabyte Aorus Z490 Master motherboard and I don't have DTS and DD sound. In the previous Z390 board, in the board X570 and any other used with the Realtek chip, I entered the properties of the given output, there I chose advanced, then DEFAULT FORMAT and the list was DTS. I don't have it right now. I installed drivers from Gigabyte site, there are 2 Realtek + DTS drivers in the audio section. I tried both + DTS. I also tried the drivers from Realtek. Still the same. I tried the standard Windows drivers and still have no changes. I can only choose 2 channel options (I attach the photo). I bought one of the best gaming motherboard and I can't get 5.1 home cinema. By the Realtek control panel it's the same. Any idea?

EDIT I also install 6.0.8934.1 CAB for HDA "64-bit Windows 10 version 1903 and later Servicing Drivers" and still the same.
