Latest Realtek HD Audio Driver Version [2]-realtek-uad-audio-console-gigabyte-v111217-8945driver.png

well my Gigabyte board recently got a quantum leap of a new UAD driver - 6.0.8945.1 which was recently released on Gigabyte's web site (search that site for newly released Z490 AORUS motherboards - the 8945 uad driver there is available for those boards). also Realtek Audio Console app updated to v1.11.217.0 as shown in the pic (requires v11.0.6000.217 of the RealtekHSA.inf file packaged in Gigabyte's Realtek UAD 8945 driver to obtain 1.11.217.0 of Realtek Audio Console from MS store)

let's see if other motherboard makers like ASrock, ASUS, MSI, etc. can beat Gigabyte's new 8945 Realtek UAD Driver, hah!

Installed on ASRock X370 Taichi, theoretically can install on any board using this method:

    1. Install generic UAD Driver (I use version 8885)
    2. Open Device Manager, update audio driver using "Have disk" and browse to UAD 8945 folder (Downloaded from Gigabyte Z490).
    3. Find RealtekHSA.inf, right click and Install
    4. Uninstall current Console, download new one.
    5. Enjoy!

pal1000 has released his version of UAD Generic driver build 8945.1. It's got a very even well balanced sound.

A text file I added to the new MoKiChU driver's, starting with AUDIO_Realtek_UAD_ASUS_ROG_SS3_v6.0.8929.1 in my SWAY OneDrive download on the excel sheet.

MoKiChU has changed and improved the install method.
Now all you need to do is right click Install_ROG_SS3.cmd and it will silently install over the old driver and automatically reboot.
Make sure you have closed any running programs and save any contents open before installing as it reboots automatically.

No more waiting for the old version to uninstall, reboot, and then install the new driver, then reboot a second time, as the new driver is installed beside the old(need to use Driver Store Explorer(Rapr.exe) to delete the old drivers if you want) and turned on. Hey DooGie, below are my Hardware IDs... will this update work fine with what I have?
Also, will the Audio Console update via MS Store?

It should work fine Tonio and yes the Audio Console will update through the MS Store. Mine updated automatically as soon as I installed the driver.

8867.1 is still the best sounding(still like HDMI passthrough).

But the new 8945.1 has fixed a problem with SonicStudio3(A-volute/Nahimic) and Realtek Audio Console settings being forgotten every few boots on Windows version 2004.
The last two drives had that problem(8924 & 8929).
It might not have been the Realtek driver itself, but one of the axillar?(for lack of a better description) drivers in the pack.
