How to tell UAD vs HDA?

...all good, including an updated Console. So how to tell from MUC that the pack is UAD?

The UAD drivers are the smaller ones (8-15MB), whereas the HDA ones are usually more than 120MB.

That's where the confusion arises. Working on that assumption I always (I believe) checked and downloaded the smaller pack. Mystery.

Hi everyone, can anyone suggest a suitable realtek driver for me? I need the swap subwoofer/center speaker function in 5.1 speaker system and I got a subwoofer but not having a center speaker. I have tested a lot of realtek drivers and and none 8468,8648,8666( from x570 plus official suggested driver), 8703,8756,8899 etc. and none of them having the function. This is driving me crazy and really hope somebody can guide me T T

My Motherboard is tuf x570 plus which having realtek s1220a codec.

    Thank you everybody.

MUC has 8923 UAD (no HDXRT.inf and HDXRTSST.inf generics) and 1.0.0.248 software components which will give you 1.10.216.0 app.

You are not stuck at 8867. You already know how to install pal1000's drivers, but you chose to stick with 8867 because you thought it sounded nice.

You ask the same question like every month or so. You are going to get the same "answers" from the same bunch of people --- (1) who either proclaims every other week's release is a "best sounding ever" driver followed up by a week later that Realtek lost their mojo with the next release (it's like some kind of Star Trek movie curse that even number Star Trek movies are superior than odd number Star Trek movies) or (2) who proclaims that they purposefully stick with a 18 month old driver because according to their golden ears, it is the pinnacle of perfection.

Couldn't you just take the two files out of the HDA driver and place them within the install of the UAD driver and run setup as normal? Your system should then find the proper driver by searching through the .inf files.
