    No problems at all...
Cool, confirmed now too, 8888 installed normally here! Whew.

Also confirmed from a couple others in the station-drivers thread that 8886 is surely bugged, causing a BSOD. Would have to be one I didn't skip, right? ha

Guys i have problems with crackling whenever i do something like scrolling with mouse, opening new programs or tabs while listening music. Also after windows booting sound can be sometimes too low and distorted, and the only fix for that is unplugging 3.5mm cable and plugging again. My motherboard is Asus crosshair viii hero with drivers installed from their website.

Realtek HDA security vulnerability patched in 8857. UAD is not vulnerable.

Though Realtek's doc says 8856. Whatever the case, wouldn't you expect Realtek to have made it widely available? I'm still seeing the 2017 driver on their site.

It may be a late Christmas miracle that Realtek would finally update their audio drivers on the website.

Indeed interesting, found out about it on Born's blog just now:

The CVE is still in embargo. No 8856 or 8857 HDA driver posted on realtek's own website or on MUC yet.

Maybe the HDA driver is not ready yet.

And if people are seeing Windows Update pushing the new driver to their computer, please post on the thread.

Guys, may I ask you what's Nahimic responsible and needed for?
These Mokichu drivers comes with broken Nahimic service...

I was running different audio drivers of his for my ROG supported motherboard since October 2019 and all versions I've updated to since October 2019 (5-6 different versions) comes with broken Nahimic. At the moment I'm on 6.0.8867.1 - Realtek UAD ASUS ROG v6.0.8867.1

I couldn't run CS GO and use Aquacomputer Farbwerk 360 ARGB LED audio visualization functionality because these 2 couldn't recognize frequency ranges (Hz). I've fighted with it for 3 months, almost turned whole internet upside down and spent maaany hours in searching for a solution and I got it today.
As fast as Nahimic service and both Nahimic32 and Nahimic64 processes are killed/disabled this game and application start to work like normal.

Audio visualization of Farbwerk 360 is just a part of functionality of this program and it wasn't recognized frequency ranges only so I still could use monitor ambient light, and the CS GO game was started in Task Manager but couldn't load the graphical GUI of it, it was simply blocked by Nahimic.
