Good news:
Realtek High Definition Audio 6.0.8862.1 WHQL, from alanfox2000 github page.
Release Realtek High Definition Audio 6.0.8862.1 WHQL . alanfox2000/realtek-hda-release . GitHub
I think this is a very good option for those interested in an updated HDA (high definition audio) driver, which includes Realtek sound manager, perfectly integrated (no need for Realtek audio console). I've tested the generic FF00 build and sounds really good!
@alber99, those 6.0.8862.1 sound really good...
EDIT for folks passing through: YES!!1 The ASRock board can use the newest driver complete with full features (enhancement tab) without using third party stuff...just a good old default Realtek control panel. Friggin' JOY! Bubye MSI and your Nahimic nonsense.
I have an ASRock Fatal1ty B450 GAMING K4 coming in for a new build in a couple days. Can anyone give me any info to help me get drivers in order for this one? I'll be using the full HDA version of Realtek Driver, and am curious if I will get the full, default Realtek Enhancements/Effects (see pic) tab or will it be completely missing, like my MSI board that relies on Nahimic for 'enhancements' (unless I use very old driver). This ASRock board has some Creative Sound Blaster Cinema 5 stuff I intend to avoid like the plague. Would be nice to be able to use newer drivers again (like my Gigabyte board can) and have the full feature set without additional bloatware (Nahimic/Creative)
Also, if you happen to have that ASRock, board I'd like to know the hardware id of the realtek stuff so I can check for Windows Update driver versions (IE: my MSI board is HDAUDIO\FUNC_01&VEN_10EC&DEV_0892&SUBSYS_1462CB86).

This thread is getting confusing with all these different drivers here. You've the official ones on page 1, and non=official drives in other posts throughout.
