Windows 10 volume bar on top left is huge

Can someone please explain how this window went from a little one with just the volume level, to this thing that takes up half the screen.Windows 10 volume bar on top left is huge-untitled1.png

    Thanks

But I have not installed any new programs for months and this issue just started literally a day ago.
I get this pop up without any media playing at all which can be seen from the picture in my OP.
I also on all web sites but not off the web.
Its driving me nuts cause it also takes about 5 seconds to fade away.

To disable it in Chrome, (and most Chrome variants), disable Media Session Service in about:flags ...

Enable or Disable chrome.exe Volume Control and Media Key Handling

Amazing, it seems to have done the job, If it did I owe you one heck of a thank you cause it was driving me nuts.
Without pushing my luck with you, can you give me an idea how it was enabled, I do not recall Chrome updating.
Thank you again for your time and help.

    You're welcome.
I think Chrome just updated today, Version 75.0.3770.80, thus it was enabled by default.

    Welcome to TenForums, btw! Enjoy!

hi, i want to ask, how your volume media application has icon and title from the music (piano), and by Rick10101 has not? Because in my case has not icon or title from music, it's empty,it shows only " chrome.exe ".

I don't think that feature has arrived in Chrome Version 75.0.3770.80 yet, I was using Chrome Canary in the original post.
