    Stop Beeps on Open/Close Folder


    Recently updated to Win10 Pro v 1809. I have run for years with most beeps turned off (Sound Control Panel), especially the click sound when opening/closing a folder. All of a sudden these click sounds are back even though the Sound Control Panel shows no sound assigned to them.

    I think this started with the recent 1809 upgrade.

    Is there a way to make them go away?

    Hi, there are potentially sounds for opening/closing programs- I don't see an option for folders in the list..

    I found the setting - it's Start Navigation and Complete Navigation under File Explorer in Sounds.

    It's OK now!
