What you are doing is about all that you can do.

Sadly it may take a complete new "Clean" install to get it back. I recall another user had a similar problem with a device not being recognized by Win 10 and they did the install to get it back. That is a drastic move but something to consider. If you have a spare disc drive (or SSD) that you can use, disconnect your regular OS drive and connect the spare and try the clean install and see what happens.

You can create an install USB flash drive, using the Windows Media Creation tool.

Ermm... See post 1 it's a Gigabyte board, not the one in My Computer ;o)

Note only option on that board is to enable or disable Audio.

Bit of a long shot but looks as if that board should auto detect. Anything still plugged into the HDMI port? If so remove it.

Another thought, view hidden devices in Device manager and see if the drivers are hidden and possibly disabled?

You don't have to completely reinstall everything. Just do a Win 10 install on a (temporary) spare drive, nothing else. If the regular PC audio returns with that install you know what the problem is and what it will take. If the PC audio does not return with the Win 10 install then the problem is most likely hardware (motherboard).
