Difficult Install Realtek HDA drivers over the UDA windows 10 drivers

I found specific Realtek HDA drivers and have prepared to update the Sound Driver in Device Manager which shows the Realtek <R> Audio and it will not allow or does not work when i point Device Manager to the folder with the Realtek Drivers i want to install. It continuously shows the "The best drivers" or the language that the Realtek drivers are already installed. Is there a step by step that i can use to work through process of getting the drivers installed over the UDA-drivers?
Also because i've tried several different times to do this, is there a clean sweep-way of getting all the realtek drivers deleted or the left over files, etc....and then just try to get the older Realtek Drivers that I want vs. the newer one that shows that Realtek R Audio drivers??? One big reason the newer Realtek R Audio drivers comes with "console" and I happen to like the older Sound Controller enhancer and Windows 7 was better as far as the Realtek drivers go FROM MY OWN experience! So, i'm trying to just find a satisfactory way of getting those realtek drivers and i know that it can be done in windows 10 it's just i'm not sure how.

you need to completely uninstall all traces of the Realtek UAD audio driver with Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU) first, reboot and then you'll be able to install the traditional Realtek HDA drivers.

and use wushowhide.diagcab from MS support article 3073930 to hide/block any realtek audio driver updates that win10 may silently install w/out any user input

Thanks for this great information. I'm going to follow the links and have already visited the DDU website and will take the time this wknd. to follow through on this uninstallment and reinstall the anticipated drivers. I'll let you know or post the outcome!

    hi leis.

it's been a while but I was wondering if you got a chance to install the traditional/legacy Realtek HDA (nonUAD) audio drivers on your Lenovo ideacentre desktop PC. only HDA drivers have the classic Realtek HD Audio Manager app that loads on startup while UAD drivers don't come with a control panel; that's why a separate Realtek audio console UWP app from the MS store had to be downloaded separately from the UAD drivers.

It seems your ideacentre 510A-15ICB computer comes with pre-installed Realtek UAD drivers as the v6.0.1.8560 Realtek UAD driver is listed for your model (it's a small download).
