    Windows 10 Tablet lost sound?

I have a fairly new Windows 10 tablet. I almost despise it. I do not know if it's Windows issues or the tablet itself but seems every time I find a solve and apply it then it will change another thing or two. Constantly chasing down issues.

I now have no sound although in settings I can see the sound meter registering and the sound on the taskbar is 100% I have no sound.

Does anyone have any suggestions. Here's thanking you in advance for you time to read here and maybe answer. Jack ";-\\

OH, in the settings for speakers it says DISABLED. When I TEST nothing happens. When I click DISABLE it just shows no choice but now ENABLE shows. I click on that and the speakers say DISABLED once again. ????

    Hi Jack

Try the Audio troubleshooter as a first item.

Start > Settings > Update and security > Troubleshoot > on right Audio Troubleshooter

I would strongly recommend you disable automatic driver updates. Option 4 this tutorial.

Enable or Disable Driver Updates in Windows Update in Windows 10
