No sound using Nero after Windows 10 Upgrade

We record H.264 media files using Black Magic Media Express software and then edit it using Nero 15 software. We recently upgraded our laptops and the new ones have Windows 10. We also upgraded the operating system on the computer that hosts the Nero 15 software to Windows 10. Since the upgrade we can play the new files using a media player and we have picture and sound. If we bring the file into Nero we do not have sound. If we bring an older file, recorded before the laptop, Windows 10 upgrade, into Nero 15 it plays picture but no sound. Any suggestions? Thanks

Hi KJP. Welcome to the TenForums @KJP

    Start Nero then

Two quick things to check. Right click Speaker in Notification area, (Systray), and open Volume Mixer. Is Nero muted?

Then Start > Settings > System > Sound > near the bottom of right hand side > Advance Sound Options. Is Nero using the default sound output?

I would suspect the old version of Nero is not compatible with Win 10. I use Nero 2017 and its 2 versions behind.

I agree with fireberd. Nero 2015 is not compatible with Windows 10. You can read about it on their forum http://forum.nero.com/nero_eng/topic...ith-windows-10. I recommend you to try Movavi Video Editor ([OFFICIAL] Video Editor | Video Editing Software by Movavi). It is fully compatible with Windows 10 and works even better.
