How to add desktop shortcut to App volume device preferences?

I had the same question. Found this:

I used the .vbs script solution with a shortcut on Desktop, works very well.

You can change the tab number on that script. In my case I've changed from 6 to 7 and worked.

Save following text to a vbs file and run it

Set oShell = WScript.CreateObject ("WScript.Shell")
oShell.run "ms-settings:sound"
WScript.Sleep 1000
oShell.SendKeys "{TAB 6}"
oShell.SendKeys " "

As of Windows 10, version 1903 you can do this:
Right-click on the desktop and hit New > Shortcut
paste in this: explorer.exe ms-settings:apps-volume


Hit next give it a name and you are done :)
