Random digital sounds, no malware or viruses detected

Greetings!

I've come here for help because Google has failed me, perhaps for the first time ever.

I have a new, custom built PC, with original Windows 10 installed. Avast Antivirus, Malwarebytes for anti-malware.

The issue is this: my PC makes random digital (as in like something being played, not static electricity or speakers malfunctioning) noises. These vary from a ''ka-chiing'' sound, a song going ''Hey ho, let's go'', ''Darkness'' (in a rather sinister voice, may I add) and others.

They appear randomly, although yesterday and today ''Darkness'' and ''Hey ho, let's go'' both appeared at approximately the same time as last night (midnight and 01:45, CET). I've ran several scans of both Avast and Malwarebytes, checked my running processes, checked my installed programs in the Control panel and found absolutely nothing. It's not websites, it's not applications I run myself. My best bet is a hidden virus/malware.

I don't really know where to turn and I'm afraid that there might be a more serious virus lying underneath. Even if there isn't, needless to say, hearing someone say ''Darkness'' very loudly in the middle of the night is just really unpleasant.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, if you run in Safe Mode for 'long enough' does this occur?

How are your speakers connected? Do you hear this if you only use headphones?

Suggest you shut down your PC overnight (there are more environmentally friendly alarm clocks)- was just watching TV news about British children needing to be taught the value of sleep and avoiding use of devices in bedrooms..

Hi, haven't tried Safe Mode yet - will do this tonight and check back.

My speakers are connected via an AUX port, haven't tried this with headphones. It doesn't do this when shut down, only when it's turned on - not only when im using it, though, I've been away from it for some time and heard noises.

Are you sure some geeky relative isn't playing tricks on you- a scheduled task to wake your PC and generate these sounds?

Positive, live with my mother only and she couldn't set up her own laptop if she wanted to, let alone mine.

Not sure if it's an actual thing (99.9% sure it isn't) or you're calling me a troll; in which case, I assure you, I have better things to do with my life than troll random strangers on a computer support forum with an, admittedly, ridiculous sounding problem.

Still no solution found. Anyone have any similar experience or know of a possible fix? :/

Holy crap, I'm having the exact same issue as you are, with the same symptoms. In fact I have a fourth type of audio playing, which sounds like some kind of sinister laughter. I've run full system scans with Norton and checked my processes, and nothing suspicious turned up. Did you find a fix for your issue?
