Go to lenovo and download the oem realtek dch driver. Install the OEM driver (using installer exe) and then run microsoft store, you will get the realtek audio console.

If it doesn't work, then check task manager to make sure realtek audio service is enabled on startup.

    Hi and welcome to TenForums!
I would suggest to avoid any modded drivers.
    Give these drivers a try:

I'm not sure if you can use Waves MaxxAudio with these ones though..but you can try!
speaking of 6.0.9205.1 HDA FF00, Microstar International [MSI] did finally get the generic 9205 HDA FF00 version in late August 2022, though almost a year late for their MS-98M3 industrial SBC motherboard.

the download link to the generic 6.0.9239.1 FF00 HDA driver from ASRock has changed (the existing one no longer works and produces 404 not found message)
here's the new link to the 6.0.9239.1 FF00 HDA driver from ASRock
AAEON also has the generic 6.0.9239.1 FF00 HDA driver - released by AAEON on 10/21/2022 (yup, that late)

v6.0.9239.1 HDA FF06 generic 64bit driver + Waves MaxxAudio software from Fujitsu EMEA (posted 11/24/2023)
    -old version, new Microsoft WHQL signature date of 10/23/2023 {though the files are dated 11/23/2023}

FF06 = generic HDA with Waves Maxxaudio integration

    WHQL for x64 Windows 7, 8.x Windows 10/11
FF06 HDA best suited for certain old Dell & Fujitsu desktop/laptop PCs with Waves Maxxaudio

    Any new FF00?

And a question, the popup "Which device did you plug in?" seems to somehow have been disabled. How do I enable this again?

    Right now I'm on 6.0.9235.

latest Microsoft certified WHQL based FF00 HDA driver is 6.0.9239.1. do not expect any new FFxx HDA versions as Realtek is no longer releasing any new versions to manufacturers anymore as they have already transitioned to using modern UAD/DCH drivers for their modern products, which UAD drivers have no FFxx designations like FF00.

6.0.9239.1 FF00 is available from many & various OEMs like AAEON, Asrock, Avalue, EVGA, HUANANZHI, MAXSUN & Microstar International (MSI).

update to 6.0.9239.1 FF00 and get on with your life, mikjoh

Thank you for this info. I have just updated to 9239. The issue with the missing popup didn't get solved by updating though. Anyone who knows how I can get it back?
